Shad Landing is one of two campgrounds within Pocomoke River State Park, and it is absolutely lovely. We booked in the Pet/Electric loop called the Acorn Trail. All of the sites are on the outside perimeter of a large circle, and each was spacious offering great site separation and privacy.

The park features hiking, biking, boating and fishing opportunities. There are two distinct areas: Millburn Landing, on the north side of the Pocomoke River on Route 364, and Shad Landing, on the south side of the river off Route 113. It is a 25-minute drive between the two areas of Pocomoke River State Park. Originating in Delaware's Great Cypress Swamp, the Pocomoke River is rich in historic and natural resources.
